Prabowo Intends To Change 60 Million Acres Of Forest To Aren Garden To Sengon

The Prabowo-Sandi Success Team Hashim Djojohadikusumo said that 70% of the land would be empowered. The land has an area of up to 60 million hectares (ha).
"Later we will empower the allocation of most of that and what is suitable is 70% because we cannot use peat soils but we can use 60 million hectares," he explained
The utilization carried out is tree planting. Trees planted start from palm trees to sengon trees.
"So we plant trees, sugar palm trees to produce ethanol, that's energy, so we plant trees, sengon, Jabon, meranti," he explained.
In addition, teak trees are also included to empower the forest. It was intended to produce quality wood products to become coal.
"We can plant teak, to produce wood products, including coal from the remnants of wood," he concluded.
